Art for dissecting contemporary obsessions.

Eat Meat is a cultural non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion, development and propagation of local and international art projects at its venue in the Gracia district of Barcelona.
As a platform for promoting creative ventures, our purpose is to tune into artistic frequencies that reflect and interpret contemporary thought and reality. Formal and vital mutations, hybrids, new visual techniques, sickness of the soul, other rituals, the monstrous, transgenders and othernesses are some of the obsessions we deal with.
Although our exhibitions are bi-monthly, their open nature allows us to carry out other kinds of activities as well.

OUR ECONOMY.

Annual fees 2 0 1 1:

Basic Member € 5 /// Cooperating Member € 50 /// Pareja de socios € 75

The basic membership fee covers the legal requirement that the venue and its bar be used only by members and their guests, and entitles you to discounts at the bar and the gallery.
As a Cooperating Member, you get more discounts and gifts, and, of course, our unconditional love.
The fees are assigned to venue maintenance and to programming production.
